AED Nihon 3100 is a product from Nihon Kohden. Nihon Kohden is a Japanese corporation operating in the field of development, manufacturing, sales, maintenance, and consulting of electronic medical equipment as well as systems and related products. Nihon Kohden is also the only company in Japan to develop and manufacture a 2-phase defibrillator AED for use in the community.

3.1. Convenient and Easy to use
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a very important first aid to a cardiac arrest victim, which helps the victim continue to have blood and oxygen flow to vital organs. Performing CPR immediately significantly increases the survivor's likelihood of survival, with each minute of delay will reduces the chance of survival from 7% to 10%. - Bước 1 : Open the lid to turn on the power.
- Bước 2: Attach the pads to the victim
- Bước 3: If the shock is needed, the shock button is flashing. Push the button to deliver the electrical shock to the patient.

3.2. Electrode patch can be used for both adult and children
Children are not miniature adults. Children's parts are not as complete as adults, so it is not possible to use the same amount of energy to defibrate the heart as energy used in adults. For many other AED models, special electrodes for children will be required and you must replace electrodes before using them.
In the AED NIHON 3100, the same electrode patch will be used for all subjects. You only need to slide a small bar on the body of the machine to recharge the electric shock so that it is suitable for children.
3.3. Optimized heart rate analysis time
The AED NIHON 3100 has a built-in continuous heart rate analysis mode that can detect abnormalities more quickly. With this function, the victim's heart rate will be analyzed even during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and electricity will be recharged before the device requests a shock. This minimizes the waiting time for electric shock as well as minimizes the interruption of CPR to increase the chances of saving the victim's life.
